Welcome365vows.com is an E-book, or more accurately an E-calendar, with a “Wedding Vow and a Toast” for each day of the year. It took over two years to research, develop and write, consisting of over a quarter million words. It’s available to you for free. Enjoy. Author's note: "As a Wedding Chaplain I have married over 1500 couples (and survived over 3000 mother in laws!) I wrote this book for fun, to help my couples be creative, to select and own the vows they will speak on their wedding day. The very words upon which they will build their life together and create their own unique story." The best way to use this site is as a creative resource and stimulus to writing your own Vows and Toasts, to make your day special, meaningful and FUN! What you’ll find on each day will be: The Vows: Written to touch lightly on a historical event for that date, relevant to the pursuit of love, friendship and marriage. The lines written in italics are the interactive lines. The vows are best used in association with “The Toast” but can be used on their own. The Toast: The origin of the “Toast” dates back to ancient times when a family patriarch would stand and publicly “bless” the marriage. The Toast can be a creative preface to the vows. Written as a story, to be read out loud concluding with a wish, or a prayer, for the couples marriage. A great asset for your Wedding Officiate, who can present it as a reading or a story, during the ceremony and prior to the vows. Or, for anyone who needs to write a “Toast/Speech”. On this day: Is a short, yet very broad list of interesting historical events that occurred on your wedding/anniversary date. Famous births, achievements in music, sciences, the arts. Things associated with love, passion, commitment and relationships. Your MC can have some fun picking a few pertinent or silly items to share. Three fun ideas: Pretty simple and self explanatory. A great way to weave a fun theme into your wedding, anniversary or birthday celebrations. TIP: The best thing to do right now is check your wedding/anniversary date. If the “Vows and Toast” for that date work - great. If not, no problem, surf through the surrounding week/month, or some other dates important to you (birthdays), and see if the “Vows and Toast” for those dates work for you. Then go ahead and be creative. Have fun with it.
